Exclusively for studiotwentyseven, the origins collection balances the Australian landscape with the strong geometric impulses of contemporary European design. The comprehensive and elemental collection is the culmination of Delatour’s residency at the Freeman Gallery in Australia, where he drew inspiration from the country’s sublime natural beauty


Working primarily in Black moon marble, travertine, and timber, delatour reveals the raw beauty of these exquisite materials to represent our collective experience with the earth and the sea. The calmness of geometrical wood surfaces recalls a still sea, while the textured surface of carved stone embodies something primordial, untamed, eternal. Together, They represent the ineffable allure and peril of the elements to which we are only ephemeral witnesses
