In creating his raw, monolithic sculptures, cwIEK employs a minimalist approach in both aesthetic and technique to reveal the innate qualities of his materials. Working primarily in high-temperature clay, he develops his own FINISHES AND GLAZES TO ENSURE PERFECTION IN THE TEXTURAL LIFE OF EACH WORK.
